Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining our AWS infrastructure, deploying and monitoring applications, and ensuring smooth operations across our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and configure AWS infrastructure, including EC2, Redis, RDS, ELB, and other services.
- Manage and scale AWS resources to meet business needs.
- Monitor AWS infrastructure for performance, security, and reliability.
- Configure and maintain Linux servers, particularly Ubuntu.
- Handle Passenger, Puma, and Nginx configurations as per project requirements.
- Deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment processes.
- Monitor applications for errors and performance issues.
- Set up React and Ruby on Rails applications on cloud platforms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in setting up and managing AWS infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Linux server setup and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Knowledge of error monitoring tools and practices.
- Familiarity with setting up and deploying React and Ruby on Rails applications on cloud platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure).
- Knowledge of other programming languages and frameworks.
