Job Description
We are seeking an experienced DevOps/Automation Engineer to support the migration and integration of cloud infrastructure and services into a large-scale enterprise AWS environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on cloud engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Terraform, DevOps automation, and Agile delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to design scalable cloud solutions, automate deployments, and ensure secure, reliable platform operations.
- Location: California (Remote)
- Contract Duration: 5+ Months
- Rate Range: $50–60/hr on W2
- Only W2 Candidates, NO C2C
- Lead the migration and integration of public cloud infrastructure and third-party SaaS solutions into the enterprise cloud environment.
- Design, build, and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to implement secure and scalable cloud solutions.
- Identify system dependencies, troubleshoot complex cloud integration challenges, and drive technical solutions.
- Ensure adherence to cloud architecture standards, coding best practices, and operational excellence.
- Support Agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog management, and project tracking using Jira.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, reliability, and availability while recommending optimization opportunities.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for project stakeholders, providing updates, resolving issues, and managing expectations.
- Drive automation initiatives to improve deployment efficiency and platform stability.
- Promote continuous improvement across cloud operations and DevOps practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent cloud operations experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Strong expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience integrating complex public cloud environments and third-party SaaS platforms.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, automation, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience working in Agile environments using Jira, sprint planning, backlog management, and roadmaps.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
