About The Role

100% remote position

As Junior Graphic Designer you’ll be part of the Leiturinha Product Team. This area is formed by product managers, designers and content creators, who are responsible for creating all materials sent to our customers and for guaranteeing the best experience to the kids and families.Your main responsibility as product designer will be to ideate and create, with the team, and outsourcing new card and board games, decorative and utilitarian items for children ages 0-12 yo., arts for packaging, fabric products, such as bibs, backpacks and lunchboxes.

What you will be doing:

  • Ideate: Research, brainstorm & sketch initial ideas to gather feedback from the team
  • Create: Create or brief the freelancers the item visually and feedback on the designs
  • Samples: Create ready to print files, request samples, test and improve them with suppliers and users
  • Delivery: Work closely with our Operations and Quality teams to guarantee the orders, quality of the materials and on time delivery
  • You will also need to understand our portfolio of products to propose improvements and come up with creative establishing connections between our products and initiatives, assets and stock usage
  • Read and understand customers' feedback to keep improving the deliveries
  • Adapt, ideate and create products for marketing & sales purposes such as: partnerships, acquisition gifts & products for the online shop
  • Work closely with other coworkers with good communication skills and working efficiently to meet deadlines

What you´ll need to succeed in this role:

  • Intermediate English
  • Passionate about product design, with proven skills at developing products and the ability to work with the design applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign etc)
  • Printing files knowledge, verifying their accuracy and aligning with the printing companies and studios/freelancers any need. Editorial experience is a plus
  • Game design skills, creating or adapting meaningful play experiences for the final customer
  • Project management skills, being a protagonist in the projects you are developing, from beginning to end
  • Interest in physical products, and children's products and activities
  • Creative self-starter who is comfortable with both taking initiative and working in collaboration. Willing to get out of your comfort zone and gaining new experiences
  • A highly-organized person, who is not afraid of hands-on projects, and can produce quick designs, execute a vision with creativity and style, and take feedback constructively
  • Art directing skills. (Illustration skills are a plus)
  • Undergraduate degree qualification in product design, game design, graphic design, industrial design or equivalent
