Job Description
TorchStone is hiring a full-time Compliance Manager with a vertically integrated health system in its corporate security organization. The incumbent’s primary remit focuses on delivering exceptional compliance management to assist the client as they strive to provide best in class security at scale. Integrated within the client’s area level leadership structure, the incumbent will own strategic and operational programs and processes relating to vendor and stakeholder management that are critical to the client’s success.
The Compliance Manager will engage effectively with business partners, vendor organization leadership, as well as stakeholders to provide a critical eye and a perspective for process improvement that facilitates holistic security program success. Commensurate with a senior role on an established team, this is a high visibility position that requires curiosity, thoughtfulness, and a dedication to solving the big problems with little to no guidance; imagination and flexibility are key factors for success. The right candidate will bring their subject matter expertise in compliance, contract governance, and security risk management to the table; they will then seamlessly combine hard skills with soft, demonstrating value for business partners as well as client security stakeholders.
Scope of Work:
- Oversight of guard force vendor compliance efforts and framework building
- Review SLA/KPI performance, audit results, and macro compliance data sets across guard force contracts
- Identify performance trends, systemic risks, and process gaps to escalate issues to executive leadership
- Track vendor remediation plans and corrective action items to drive partner accountability
- Review operational data, financial invoices, and billing to validate rate compliance against active contract terms
- Conduct variance analysis on high-volume spend data and assist with budgeting planning and concerns
- Support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), governance reviews, and vendor performance discussions
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Sourcing, Finance, and Market Operations
- Translate large compliance data sets into clear, accurate, and actionable insights for leadership
- Focus strictly on trends, exceptions, and performance gaps rather than raw operational data collection
- Lead regular meetings with counterparts to ensure regional and vendor alignment
- Advanced presentation, proposal, and report writing skills to support executive-level reporting
