🌟 Join Magoya! 🌟

We offer innovative digital solutions designed to solve agriculture’s toughest challenges. Our mission is to support customer success through exceptional products, collaboration, and technical excellence. 🚀

QA Engineer (Embedded Function Build - Client-Facing)

We are searching for a versatile QA Engineer to establish the first dedicated quality engineering foundation from scratch for one of our major US-based AgTech clients. In this role, you will embed directly with the client's product team, initially focusing on their core platforms and expanding coverage across their digital portfolio. You won't just look at the UI; you will focus heavily on validating complex data outputs, data pipelines, and API reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate platform outputs, data surfaces, and API reliability (response accuracy, contract validation, and regression testing) for the client's core digital products.
  • Execute functional, regression, and edge-case testing for the client's field applications, ensuring stability across variable or offline connectivity environments.
  • Design and build an automation suite from scratch where the product is stable, while applying manual/exploratory testing where features are still evolving.
  • Define the overarching QA strategy, including test plan structures, coverage priorities, defect triage processes, and release readiness criteria for the client's roadmap.
  • Partner closely with the client's engineering and product teams within their agile sprint cadence to ensure high-quality, end-to-end releases.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance and Testing.
  • Advanced/Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must, as you will collaborate daily with US-based client stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in both API testing (Postman, RestAssured, or similar) and web/mobile application testing.
  • Experience building or contributing to test automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Strong understanding of data validation and pipeline testing (not just checking UI elements).
  • Ability to work autonomously, take ownership, and build processes where none exist.

Preferred Skills

  • Background or interest in agriculture, geospatial data, or digital farm management solutions.
  • Experience working directly with US clients in remote-first, distributed teams.

Terms:

  • Contract length: 1 year.
  • Location: Argentina (100% Remote).
