Our mission is to scale alongside our clients, consistently delivering exceptional talent solutions that drive growth and innovation. With a strategic focus on the financial sector, we have established robust partnerships with some of the most profitable proprietary trading firms and funds worldwide. Our global footprint spans key financial hubs including Hong Kong, London, New York City, Miami, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Singapore, and Amsterdam, reflecting our extensive reach and influence in the industry.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Practice / Lead Recruiter / Recruitment Manager to join our Miami headquarters. This leadership role is pivotal in expanding our financial recruitment operations and developing our leadership team. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of quantitative trading, discretionary portfolio management, and the broader financial landscape, with a proven track record in sourcing and securing top-tier talent across sell-side and buy-side institutions. The role offers a unique opportunity to influence the growth trajectory of Goliath Partners, with future plans to establish a significant presence in New York City by late 2026. Relocation and visa support are available, and the successful candidate may eventually oversee or transition to our NYC office, either independently or as part of an incubated group.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in quantitative trading, discretionary portfolio management, and research roles within both sell-side and buy-side environments. A strong network within the financial industry, particularly in prop trading firms and hedge funds, is essential. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and manage high-performing recruitment teams. A proven track record of successful placements at senior levels, along with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach to business development, is required. Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, economics, or related fields is preferred, along with relevant industry certifications or advanced degrees.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and expanding the recruitment practice within Goliath Partners. Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategic sourcing plans for senior financial roles, building and maintaining relationships with top-tier clients and candidates, and managing the full lifecycle of recruitment processes. You will oversee a team of recruiters, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high performance and alignment with company goals. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership to identify talent needs, craft compelling value propositions, and enhance our market presence. As part of your leadership duties, you will also participate in business development initiatives, contribute to branding efforts, and represent Goliath Partners at industry events and conferences.

Benefits

Goliath Partners offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary up to $135,000, complemented by unrivaled commissions, annual bonuses, sign-on bonuses, RSUs, and stock options. By the end of 2026, the team is expected to grow to three members, with a clear pathway to promotion to Director. Our comprehensive benefits package includes full healthcare coverage, vision and dental plans, and a 401(k) plan with company matching. Employees enjoy 35 days of paid time off, fostering a healthy work-life balance. Additional perks include paid lunch clubs, trips to Europe and Asia, and tickets to major sports events such as Miami Heat and Dolphins games, supporting a vibrant and engaging company culture.

Equal Opportunity

Goliath Partners is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates regardless of race, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, or background. We believe that diverse perspectives enrich our organization and drive our success, and we are dedicated to creating an environment where everyone can thrive and contribute meaningfully to our collective goals.
