💰 Compensation: $180,000+ Base With Equity range (0.25%–0.75%)

As a Founding AI Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to own critical AI infrastructure from day one and directly influence the company's technology roadmap, architecture, and product direction.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving difficult engineering challenges rather than simply integrating existing APIs.

🔥 What You'll Be Building

You'll own and develop production-ready AI systems from research to deployment, including:

✅ Production-scale Agentic Vision-Language Model pipelines

✅ Intelligent multimodal reasoning systems combining video, images, speech, and enterprise knowledge

✅ AI workflows for wearable smart devices operating in real industrial environments

✅ Low-latency inference pipelines optimized for edge hardware

✅ Model orchestration with graceful fallback across varying network conditions

✅ Real-time AI interfaces supporting voice, video, proactive alerts, and technician assistance

✅ Enterprise Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems

✅ Customer-specific knowledge bases generated from real-world operational data

✅ Evaluation frameworks to continuously measure, benchmark, and improve model performance

✅ Fine-tuning, optimization, quantization, and deployment of open-source multimodal models for on-premise environments
