Job Description
NHS Forth Valley’s Information Service has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join Information Services in providing a comprehensive analytical service to NHS Forth Valley and Health and Social Care Partners.
You will work closely with the Principal Information Analyst, providing technical advice and solutions to business users within NHS Forth Valley and Health and Social Care Services. As a technical specialist within Information Services you will manage and maintain information databases and reporting mechanisms, requiring knowledge of database design, maintenance and creation of online reporting solutions and automation of statistical reports.
A highly numerate graduate, or equivalent, you will have significant relevant experience in health-related IT or information work and you will have experience of SQL, Excel and other data programming tools and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and experience of team working.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
