This is a hands-on 6-month capability-building role, where you’ll apply your technical knowledge in a customer-facing, commercially driven environment.
You’ll gain exposure to how automation, AI, IoT, big data, digital twins, industrial components, and advanced sensing technologies are applied to real customer challenges - and how ideas become real outcomes.
Location & Program Structure
For NZ-based candidates, this program includes a structured training phase in Sydney:
- First 3 months: Based in Sydney, working closely with our central team to build strong foundations in product knowledge, systems, and customer processes
- Final 1–3 months: Transition back to New Zealand, depending on individual readiness and business needs
Candidates should be open to a temporary relocation to Sydney during the initial training phase.
What You’ll Do & Build:

- Support customer enquiries and quotations from initial enquiry through to pricing and delivery
- Assist in day-to-day sales, customer service, and operational activities to understand end-to-end solution delivery
- Engage with customers to address technical and commercial enquiries, ensuring responsive and high-quality service
- Support opportunity follow-ups and participate in sales discussions to gain exposure to decision-making processes
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver consistent customer outcomes

- Background in technical fields, engineering, or trades
