Gatsu is the AI-native market research platform CAWI/CAPI surveys, panels, and insights powered by generative-AI workflows used across web and iOS. We're looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed Manual QA Tester to be the last line of defense before our features reach real researchers and respondents. You'll test our web app and iOS app hands-on: writing and running test plans, hunting down bugs across complex survey logic and flows, and making sure every release feels solid on every screen. If you love breaking things thoughtfully, reproducing the un-reproducible, and writing bug reports a developer can act on in seconds, this role is for you.
What you'll do- Manually test the web app and the iOS app across features, flows, and devices — before every release and continuously.
- Write clear, thorough test plans and test cases from product specs, and execute them methodically (functional, regression, exploratory, edge-case).
- Hunt down bugs in complex survey logic — routing, quotas, branching, randomization, piping, multi-locale flows — and across the respondent and admin experiences.
- Test on real iOS devices (TestFlight builds) and on Safari/Chrome across screen sizes; verify responsive layouts, offline/poor-network behavior, and platform-specific quirks.
- File precise, reproducible bug reports (steps, expected vs actual, screenshots/recordings, environment) developers can act on immediately.
- Verify fixes, run regression passes, and sign off on releases; keep a tight regression discipline as the product evolves.
- Partner with engineering and product to catch issues early and clarify expected behavior.

- Proven experience as a manual QA tester for both web and mobile (iOS) applications.
- Strong test-case design and a methodical, exploratory testing mindset — you find the bugs others miss.
- Hands-on iOS testing on real devices (TestFlight, multiple iPhone models / iOS versions).
- Excellent, precise bug reporting — clear repro steps, environment details, and evidence.
- Comfortable with issue trackers (Jira / Linear / GitHub Issues) and test-case management.
- Detail-obsessed, reliable, and self-directed; strong written English.
