Job Description:
As a producer at Gear Games, you will take charge of the development of mobile games in cooperation with important major video game companies in Europe and America, as well as potentially taking on in-house ambitious projects. We are looking for an experienced Mobile Game Producer to take on this role whose main responsibilities will be:
- Manage internal teams for full-game development and live operations
- Manage the project’s scope, timeline, and deliveries
- Create, Review, and Validate general and detailed specifications for the game
- Be proactive in risk management and solution-oriented
- Be the main point of contact for Gear on the project and be a facilitator to help the team resolve any issues they may have
- Work on controlling the product’s quality in all development areas (Engineering, Art, Design)
- Be able to review KPIs and be data-driven in order to define project improvements as well as prioritizing feature improvements targeted at specific metrics when necessary
- Have clear and efficient communication in English and Korean with all Project Stakeholders
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in game development
- At least 3 years of professional experience in game project management
- Strong experience working on mobile games going live on the App Store and Google Play Store
- Proven track record in releasing mobile game titles on the market
- Having experience acting as the main producer on a title for the full production cycle from pitch to release is a plus
- Having worked on large-scale projects with large teams is an advantage
- Strong programming knowledge in C# Java or C++ is an advantage
- Strong programming knowledge in Unity is an advantage
- Fluent in English and Korean (Required)
- Ability to work under pressure, independently, and within a team
- Great attitude and work ethic
