System and Network Administrator

We are looking for a skilled and motivated System and Network Administrator to join our team in Sri Lanka.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in network administration, system support, firewall configuration, VPNs, Windows Server, and IT troubleshooting.

The candidate must be able to work independently, follow instructions, document work properly, and handle client systems with confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve network, firewall, VPN, server, and system issues remotely or on-site when required.
• Configure and support firewalls such as Fortinet, Sophos, pfSense, Ubiquiti, and TP-Link Omada. Manage network configurations including VLANs, switch ports, trunk ports, PoE, LAG, QoS, routing, NAT, DNS, DHCP, and firewall policies.
• Configure and troubleshoot VPNs including L2TP, OpenVPN, WireGuard, and site-to-site VPNs.
• Manage Windows Server services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, RADIUS, SMB, users, groups, and permissions. Support CCTV, NAS, VoIP, virtualization, and basic Linux environments when required.
• Maintain proper documentation for tasks, configurations, and client environments. Follow company procedures for passwords, approvals, customer data protection, and change management.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in system and network administration.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, VPNs, firewall rules, NAT, DNS, and DHCP. Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Experience with firewall/network platforms such as Fortinet, Sophos, pfSense, Ubiquiti, or TP-Link Omada.
• Good troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks carefully.
• Must be trustworthy and able to handle confidential client systems.
• Ability to work across different time zones when required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in IT, Networking, System Administration, or related field is preferred.
• CCNA or CCNP certification
• Fortinet NSE or FCP certification will be an advantage.
• Azure or AWS fundamentals will be an added advantage.
