Focus of the Role:
The Solution Architect/Senior Developer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable solutions for our organization. This position requires expertise in Java Spring Boot and Node.js backend development, React front-end development, AWS cloud services, Terraform for infrastructure as code, and proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration. The candidate will also be involved in DevOps practices to ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes

What You'll do Product & Technology - Software Engineering & IT develops and maintains Telstra's software and IT systems, working on some cutting-edge technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design high-level solutions.
- Architect end-to-end solutions that leverage Java Spring Boot, Node.js, React, AWS services, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Lead and contribute to the development of backend services using Java Spring Boot and Node.js.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using React.
- Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability of the developed solutions.
- Utilize AWS cloud services to design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate and streamline deployment processes.
- Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker.
- Work with Kubernetes for container orchestration to ensure scalability and resilience.
- Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with the operations team to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance.
About You: - 8+ years of software development experience, with a focus on Java Spring Boot and Node.js backend development.
- Strong experience in React front-end development.
- Proven track record as a Solution Architect with hands-on experience in designing and implementing complex solutions.
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and Terraform.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
