Job Title: Paid Search Specialist

Location: India, Pakistan, Colombia, Argentina, Ecuador, Mexico (Remote)

Monthly Compensation: $2,500 - $3,000 USD

Job Description:

The Paid Search Specialist is a digital marketing professional responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns across search engines such as Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising. This role is critical within the marketing team, directly impacting lead generation, online sales, and brand visibility. The Paid Search Specialist collaborates closely with other digital marketers, content creators, and analytics teams to ensure campaigns align with broader marketing objectives and deliver measurable ROI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage paid search campaigns across platforms like Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
  • Conduct keyword research, ad copywriting, and audience targeting to maximize campaign performance.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Manage budgets, bid strategies, and pacing to ensure efficient spend and achievement of KPIs.
  • Perform A/B testing on ad creatives, landing pages, and targeting strategies to improve conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align paid search efforts with overall marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Stay current with industry trends, search engine updates, and best practices to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Ensure campaigns comply with platform policies and brand guidelines.
  • Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Data Studio) to track performance and generate regular reports for stakeholders.

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising/Bing Ads).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
  • Experience with keyword research tools and bid management platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to write compelling ad copy and optimize landing pages.
  • Familiarity with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Google Ads Certification (Search) or equivalent.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with additional paid media channels (e.g., social, display, remarketing).
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and product feed management.
  • Experience using campaign management tools (e.g., SEMrush, SA360, Marin Software).
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, data visualization).
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or basic web development.
  • Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) or similar certifications.
  • Experience working in agency or multi-client environments.
  • Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) best practices.
