Senior Disaster Recovery & Cyber Security Resilience Engineer

A Disaster Recovery & Cyber Security Resilience Engineer. This is a Direct Hire role, fully remote. This position exists to provide hands-on technical execution of disaster recovery and cyber resilience processes across a large health system, developing and maintaining technical recovery plans for critical applications and infrastructure.

What You Bring to the Role (Ideal Experience

• )Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required; master's degree favored, or equivalent years of experience considered in lieu of degre
• e5+ years of relevant experience with backup and replication technologies (e.g., Veeam) used in clinical, research, and education settings within healthcar
• e5+ years of relevant experience with incident response, serving as a primary technical contact during disaster events and coordinating recovery efforts with internal and external vendor
• s5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering with a focus on business continuity or cyber resilienc
• yDemonstrated proficiency with HIPAA Security, NIST, and other relevant healthcare regulations and standard
