Job Description
A Disaster Recovery & Cyber Security Resilience Engineer. This is a Direct Hire role, fully remote. This position exists to provide hands-on technical execution of disaster recovery and cyber resilience processes across a large health system, developing and maintaining technical recovery plans for critical applications and infrastructure.
What You Bring to the Role (Ideal Experience
- )Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required; master's degree favored, or equivalent years of experience considered in lieu of degre
- e5+ years of relevant experience with backup and replication technologies (e.g., Veeam) used in clinical, research, and education settings within healthcar
- e5+ years of relevant experience with incident response, serving as a primary technical contact during disaster events and coordinating recovery efforts with internal and external vendor
- s5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering with a focus on business continuity or cyber resilienc
- yDemonstrated proficiency with HIPAA Security, NIST, and other relevant healthcare regulations and standard
- sProven ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the enterprise and a diverse set of department
- sSkilled in project management and work plan developmen
- tAcademic medical center and/or healthcare consulting experience strongly preferre
- dCurrent Certified Disaster Recovery Engineer (CDRE) designation, or ability to obtain, strongly preferre
