Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years' experience with Engineering, preferably fullstack
• Strong expertise in JavaScript
• Strong accessibility knowledge with Deque WCAG standards
• Preferred experience working in web governance domains from EU, or understanding how web governance impacts financial institutions
• CI/CD pipelines should be aware of Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Experience deploying into a public cloud such as AWS
• Unit testing experience

Job Description

A client in the financial services industry is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to join its Channel Frameworks and Services organization. The Engineer will join an Agile scrum team responsible for building applications that run predictive scans on their internal web pages to proactively ensure the company is adhering to international regulations such as GDPR. Most of the work will be frontend with JavaScript to run scans on cookies and around accessibility enhancements. Node.js experience is also required for backend, scraping data. This is not a traditional Engineering role, and any experience in web governance domains is preferred, while knowledge of WCAG standards is required.
