SEO Writer in Norwegian and Country Manager for a Financial Comparison Website in NORWAY

We are looking for a dedicated and results-oriented SEO writer to join our team as the Country Manager for our Norwegian market.


As a full-time team member, you will create high-quality content, negotiate affiliate deals, and secure backlinks to ensure the growth of our company in Norway.


This position is fully remote, will require around 20 hours per week in the beginning, and is an ideal opportunity for ambitious university students or Norwegian speakers living abroad.

We are Financer, a global financial comparison website operating in 23 markets with a team of around 50 members worldwide.


What We Write

  • Price Comparisons: we compare financial products like loans, credit cards, savings accounts, stock brokers, etc.
  • Reviews: we review the products and the companies behind them, and allow user reviews.
  • Financial Education: we write guides and articles on personal finance topics such as budgeting, investing, and debt management.


Role Responsibilities

As the Country Manager of Norway, you will:

  • Manage content: write, optimize, and ensure high-quality content.
  • Handle affiliate management: negotiate with current partners and seek new deals.
  • Develop Financer with innovative ideas and feedback.


Specific Tasks

  • Research, write, and optimize SEO content in WordPress (60-70% of your work).
  • Build comparison tables and add new products.
  • Secure backlinks.
  • Manage affiliate relationships.
  • Post on social media.
  • Provide email support to visitors.

Requirements

  • Native-level Norwegian writing skills (residency in Norway NOT required).
  • Fluent English for team communication.
  • Proven SEO experience (on-page and off-page).
  • Strong interest in finance and marketing.
  • Responsible, self-motivated, and excellent at time management.
  • Passionate about learning and growing.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on providing value.



Preferred Experience

  • Background in personal finance.
  • Familiarity with WordPress.
  • Experience working independently.

Compensation

  • Base hourly rate of €15, increasing to €20 with 90% content ranking.
  • Profit share up to 12% based on market performance.

Interview Process

  • Initial written get-to-know chat.
  • Video interview.
  • Paid test task: if the video call goes well, we'll invite you to write a 1000-2000 word article and provide quick feedback on some existing content ($70, including revisions).
  • Final interview with the DK market team leader.
  • Hiring decision.
