Our partner, a global leader in debt collections technology, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their remote sales team. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing, this role focuses on driving sales in Thailand and the ASEAN region, with frequent travel required.
The ideal candidate will have a strong network in the banking and financial sectors and a proven track record in selling financial software.
Responsibilities include securing new clients, managing the sales pipeline, and acting as the primary contact for Thailand.
Key Responsibilities:
Secure new clients and manage existing accounts in Thailand and ASEAN.
Lead presales activities, including presentations, system demonstrations, and POCs.
Qualify marketing leads and design sales strategies.
Prepare quotes, negotiate contracts, and manage the CRM.
Serve as the primary contact for clients in Thailand.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
Travel internationally 1-2 months per year to meet clients and oversee regional projects
Requirements:
7 to 10+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in financial and/or banking software.
Strong connections in the banking and financial sectors.
Experience managing complex tender processes and presenting to C-suite executives.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Willingness to travel internationally 1-2 months per year or as required.
