Product Launch & PIM Product Owner
Our client, a global consumer brand, is seeking a Product Launch & PIM Product Owner to own the Product Information Management (PIM) ecosystem and drive scalable, high-quality global product launches. This role will lead the evolution of new product implementation processes by transitioning manual workflows into system-driven operations while ensuring product data is accurate, complete, and launch-ready across digital channels.
This is a highly cross-functional role partnering with merchandising, marketing, technology, legal, and category management teams to optimize product launches, improve data governance, and enhance the overall go-to-market process.
Location: Fully Remote
Pay Range: $41/hr.
Hours: 40/week (M-F)
Type: Contract, July-Feb 2027

- Lead seasonal product launch planning and ensure product data readiness across cross-functional teams.
- Own product data QA processes, validation rules, workflows, and launch checkpoints within the PIM platform.
- Manage ongoing product updates, corrections, and enhancements after launch.
- Serve as the primary business owner for the PIM platform, defining product vision, roadmap, and enhancement priorities.
- Translate business needs into user stories, workflows, and technical requirements.
- Partner with Technology and IT teams to prioritize the product backlog and deliver continuous platform improvements.
- Establish governance, data standards, and best practices for product information management.
- Drive adoption of new processes through training, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead cross-functional communication, launch readiness reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Digital Commerce, Go-to-Market Operations, or similar roles.
- Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) or product launch processes.
- Hands-on experience with Product Information Management (PIM) platforms.
- Strong understanding of product data governance and digital product lifecycle management.
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, PLM systems, DAM platforms, and Jira is preferred.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and scalable workflows.
- Excellent project management, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Detail-oriented with a data-driven approach and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
