About the Company and the opportunity:

Our client is a Japanese software development company providing package software and services to the Japan Civil Engineering field and the VR field worldwide. They are in their 38th year of operation and have the top share of sales in their field in Japan.


Thsi role is based in the south of Japan in Miyazaki. Miyazaki is renowned for its beautiful beaches, warm climate, and easy access to outdoor activities. The office provides a quiet and relaxing environment to focus on creating world class software. The ideal candidates are people already in Japan or willing to relocate to Japan.

Visa and relocation support is available to the successful candidate.


Language requirements:

JLPT N3 or equivalent Japanese lanaguage ability is required, plus fluent English.


About The role :

Seeking a typical typical DevOps profile with 1 year or more of experience in the field.

Work on CI/CD, testing, and management of the service infrastructure. Successful candidates will join a friendly international team of 18. Non Native Japanese speakers would be expected to study Japanese if there is room for improvment.


Essential Requirements:

·      A Computer Science bachelors degree or higher from a recognised university.

·      At least one year working on DevOps tasks.

·      Docker Experience.

·      Good teamwork skills.

·      JLPT N3 + or equivalent


Nice To have Skills:

·      Linux and Windows experience.

·      AWS experience.

·      Kubernetes experience.

·      Docker Swarm experience.

·      Node.js experience.

·      Generic RDB/RDBMS experience.

·      Experience with source control systems.

·      Network/Firewall setup experience.
