The Team

You'll join a small, highly technical engineering team responsible for building the software that powers our trading platform. We work closely with traders and quantitative researchers to transform ideas into production systems that are fast, reliable, and scalable.

The Role

Building software for high-frequency trading presents challenges that extend far beyond application development.

Trading systems must process vast volumes of market data, execute orders with minimal latency, and remain predictable under demanding production environments. Performance, correctness, and reliability are equally important, and even small engineering improvements can have a measurable impact.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll contribute to the design, development, and optimisation of the core systems that power our trading platform. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll build software that performs reliably under real-world market conditions while continuously improving latency, scalability, and maintainability.

Your Work May Include

• Designing, developing, and optimising high-performance applications using modern C++.
• Building low-latency components for market data processing and trade execution.
• Applying data structures and algorithms to solve complex performance-critical problems.
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable production code.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for engineers who enjoy building high-performance systems and take pride in writing elegant, efficient software.

You Should Have

• 3-6 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in high-frequency trading, algorithmic trading, or another performance-critical environment.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ with a proven track record of writing efficient, maintainable production code.
• Excellent understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computational complexity.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, memory management, concurrency, and multithreaded programming.
• Familiarity with Linux development environments and systems programming.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Prior experience in HFT or electronic trading is preferred but not mandatory. Exceptional systems engineers from other performance-critical domains are encouraged to apply.
