Key Responsibilities
Learn and master AtomEngine to create and execute war-game scenarios in both single-player and multiplayer configurations

Perform various testing activities including load testing, stability testing, and functionality testing in a timely and thorough manner
Communicate effectively with team members to understand new systems, resolve issues, and deliver actionable test results in real time
Develop and maintain detailed test plans and procedures in collaboration with test leadership
Test AtomEngine's Developer Mod Kit, identify bugs, and provide feedback to optimize user experience
Prioritize testing activities based on project requirements and ensure comprehensive coverage of features
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in game testing and simulation technology

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Game and Hardware Tester to join our team and contribute to the development of AtomEngine, our proprietary cloud-based game engine. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality, stability, and functionality of AtomEngine, which is designed to simulate complex military scenarios with high fidelity. As part of this position, you will focus on testing AtomEngine’s ModKit, a tool that allows customers to customize and extend the engine’s capabilities. Your work will help shape the future of simulation technology used in military training and operations. The ideal candidate is a gaming enthusiast or hobbyist with experience in scripting, mod creation, and familiarity with gaming hardware. This role requires on-site presence at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, three days a week, with relocation assistance available if necessary. Candidates must possess an active Secret Clearance and be U.S. Citizens, in accordance with federal contract requirements.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in video game quality assurance or testing
  • Proficiency with scripting and visual scripting tools such as Unreal Blueprints and GDScript
  • Experience with PC gaming hardware and peripherals
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of QA principles, methodologies, and processes
  • Experience using industry-standard testing tools, bug tracking, version control, and test management software
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship (mandatory due to federal contract requirements)
  • Willingness to work on-site in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, three days per week
