Principal / Staff Engineer, PHP - would you like the opportunity to work with a scaling fintech company based in the UK?
The Company
A market leading fintech with a global presence. With high-end offices in central London. You will be joining an established PHP team during an exciting period of growth across their PHP development. You also have the chance to work fully remote and only attend the office when absolutely necessary.
The Role
Leading the development team and interacting with stakeholders
Split your time with hands on development and managing the team
Developing and implementing a new cutting edge functionality to the platform
Working closely with other team members on important technical challenges faced within a rapidly growing fintech business
Working to improve scalability and performance
Mentor developers and ensure the team are performing to the highest of levels
Requirements
Extensive PHP development experience
Experience of leading and managing development teams
Strong knowledge of Laravel and Symfony
Knowledge of Docker
MySQL / PostgreSQL
Test driven development advocate
Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
