Sales Engineer (SE)

In our SE role, you are responsible for managing customers, distributors, key customers and partners, maintaining contact with local stakeholders and providing market intelligence to the company.
You will receive detailed training on the features, functions and capabilities of the robots you'll be selling.
Knowledge of basic integrations, automations or understanding the basic principles of robotics, sensors, actuators, controllers, and software is expected.
From the first day of work, it is necessary to speak German and English fluently.
Main objectives
- Prospect, cold calling and connect with potential clients. Focus on understanding the customer needs.
- Organize discovery and follow-up meetings.
- Organize and/or conduct site visits.
- Set up and maintain details in SFDC for all leads, accounts and open projects.
- Thoroughly long-term follow-up on existent accounts.
- Continuously monitor the progress of orders, from initial inquiry to installation, ensuring that all deadlines and conditions are met.
Additional Duties
- Ensure the highest level of rapport with the customer.
- Observe and provide feedback on information about competitors' products and services.
- Plan, organize and execute client presentations, demonstrations and equipment training.
- Support projects generated in cooperation with the project management team.
- Meet Sales Goals: Prototypes, Design Wins, New Customers
- Business Development: Market recognition, failure is not allowed, only learning.
- Understand the customer's organizational structures to define and meet product requirements.
Profile
- Degree in engineering or equivalent technician.
- Knowledge in robotics, integration blocks, automations or understanding the basic principles of robotics, sensors, actuators, controllers and software is desired.
- Previous sales experience will be an asset.
- Speaking and writing excellent English is mandatory.
- Speaking and writing excellent German is desired.
- Knowledge of SFDC or any CRM system is an asset.
- You have strong soft skills and are comfortable being the center of attention.
