Be part of a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex software functions within Honeywell Anthem Next -Generation Avionics  Display Systems. You will be a key member of our Anthem Avionics group, responsible for designing and developing advanced software solutions for cutting-edge avionics technology.

Our new revolutionary integrated Anthem Flight Deck is breaking new ground in avionics design, offering unprecedented levels of connectivity, an exciting and intuitive interface modeled after everyday smart devices, and a highly scalable and customizable design. Key Responsibilities Your work will contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies that provides enhance the situational awareness and decision-making capabilities of pilots. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the development of cutting-edge software solutions and avionics technology Leverage your expertise in software engineering to drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze and understand project requirements and technical specifications

Design, develop, and test software solutions Software architecture and coding Integration Certification Feature Definition Verification and Validation U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics 5+ years of experience in Software and/or  Avionics.

WE VALUE Understanding various Software Development Life Cycles Strong proficiency in programming languages i.e C/C++, Python, Open GL, etc Experience developing software in a Real-Time Operating System Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices.

Experience with Avionics products desirable i.e. Avionics Displays & Graphics, Flight Mgmt, Flight Planning, Flight Controls, Flight Displays (PFD), Traffic Collision Avoidance (TCAS), Crew Alert Messaging (CAS), Terrain, Radios, etc Experience operating in an Agile framework desired Understanding of UI and User Application development. Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.

Can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts.
