Job Description


Job Description: We’re seeking a detail-oriented DB Plan Administrator to manage and ensure compliance for our clients' defined benefit retirement plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plan administration, knowledge of regulations, and excellent organizational skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of defined benefit pension plans.
  • Process pension payments, contributions, and adjustments accurately and on time.
  • Conduct annual compliance testing and actuarial valuation coordination.
  • Prepare and file required regulatory forms, including IRS Form 5500, and ensure ERISA/IRS compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of participant data and plan information.
  • Communicate with participants to answer inquiries and assist with retirement planning.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and trends to advise clients and ensure plan compliance.


Requirements:

  • Pension Plan Administrator certification (e.g., QPA, ASPA) or similar (preferred).
  • 2+ years’ experience in defined benefit plan administration.
  • Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
