Product Manager — Engine Programme
We're are assisting our client for the role of Product Manager, the role will be responsible for the full ownership of their flagship engine programme — a high-value, heavy-fuel powerplant developed and industrialised in close partnership with an overseas facility and its manufacturing and technology partners.
This is a strategic, partnership-intensive role combining full technical, commercial, and schedule authority with the management of a cross-border development and manufacturing partnership. Expect significant on-site time at our partner facility, plus close engagement with platform customers internationally.
🔧 What you'll own:
- The product roadmap, configuration baseline, requirements, and business case
- Day-to-day management of our overseas development and manufacturing partnership
- Build, assembly, and industrialisation at the partner facility
- Requirements and interface control for platform integration
- The master schedule, risk register, and milestone delivery
- Test and qualification strategy, with hands-on presence in the test cell and at integration/flight-test campaigns
- Primary technical and commercial relationship with platform customers, including RFQs and negotiations

- Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Automotive, or Propulsion Engineering (Master's a plus)
- 8+ years in engine/powertrain development or propulsion programme management, with real programme leadership experience
- Proven end-to-end ownership of a complex engine or powertrain product through development, qualification, and delivery
- Experience managing development/manufacturing partnerships or joint ventures, ideally cross-border
- Strong commercial acumen on high-value, capital-intensive products\
- UAV propulsion background, defence programme experience, and familiarity with ISO 9001 / AS9100 environments would be advantageous
Please note this role is based in the UAE and requires relocation.
