About the role

We are looking for an experienced Learning Management System (LMS) Manager to join our Talent Development team and oversee our LMS administration, including configuration, maintenance, and support, as well as ensuring the alignment of the LMS with the Strada’s learning strategy and goals.

As an LMS Manager, you will plan, coordinate and partner with Talent Development and Talent Operations for LMS governance, release activities, learning content planning, tracking, curation, and reporting from an L&D perspective.

You will also collaborate and consult with various stakeholders across the organization to identify learning needs, create engaging and effective learning solutions, and monitor and report on the learning outcomes and impact utilizing and leveraging the LMS and tool features.

This is a global role that requires excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong knowledge of learning and development best practices and trends.


Responsibilities

  • Partner with Talent Operations to manage the day-to-day operations of the LMS, including but not limited to, user management, course creation and assignment, content upload and update, system integration and testing, troubleshooting, and technical support.
  • Ensure the LMS is compliant with the company's policies, standards, and regulations, as well as the latest security and accessibility requirements.
  • Develop and implement LMS policies, procedures, and guidelines, and provide training and guidance to LMS users, administrators, and instructors.
  • Work closely with the HR Talent Development team and other business units to understand the learning needs and goals of the company, and design and develop effective and engaging learning solutions and recommend enterprise strategies that meet the needs of diverse and global learners.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the learning programs and platforms, providing regular reports and feedback to management and stakeholders.
  • Support external vendor and content management strategy to ensure globally relevant content and learning experiences are available for Strada employees.
  • Research and recommend new features, functionalities, and enhancements for the LMS, and stay updated on the latest learning and development trends and technologies.
  • Maintain oversight of LMS to ensure best practice in system management and tool integrations.
  • Manage the LMS budget and vendor relationships, and negotiate contracts and service agreements in partnership with procurement/finance as needed.
  • Supervise and mentor the Talent Operations team, providing feedback as appropriate.


Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in managing and administering LMS platforms, preferably in a global and large-scale organization.
  • Experience in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating learning programs and solutions, using various instructional design models, methodologies, and tools.
  • Proficient in using e-learning authoring tools, such as Articulate, Captivate, or similar.
  • Knowledge of learning and development best practices and trends, such as blended learning, microlearning, gamification, adaptive learning, skill-based training etc.
  • Knowledge of learning and development global standards and regulations, such as SCORM, xAPI, AICC, GDPR, etc.
  • Excellent communication, presentation / facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse and global teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Learning and development certifications, such as CPTM, CPLP, CPTD, CTP, or similar, are preferred.
