Senior Data Scientist (Remote, EU) – €60–70k

We’re hiring for a Senior Data Scientist to join a PE-backed European tech group that’s in the middle of a major data transformation.
They operate across multiple brands and markets, sitting on a large but historically fragmented data estate. The platform is now being centralised (Databricks on Azure), and the focus is shifting from infrastructure → actual business impact.
This role sits right in that shift.
The role
This isn’t a research-heavy or isolated modelling role.
They need someone who can take real business problems and turn them into solutions that actually get used.
That means:
- Building predictive models across customer, product and commercial data
- Turning messy, distributed data into clear recommendations
- Working directly with stakeholders to define what should be built
- Plugging into a growing data platform and shaping how data science is applied across the business

What matters
- 5+ years in data science with real business application
- Strong Python and SQL
- Proven experience building and deploying models (not just notebooks)
- Comfortable with ambiguity and messy data
- Able to explain work clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have:
- Experience with churn, customer modelling or commercial use cases
- Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS etc.)
- Worked in multi-product or multi-brand environments
