Job Title: System Engineer

Location: Remote from Mexico

Job Description:

AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced System Engineer to migrate a number of our applications from our on-prem Cloud to public cloud. This role involves designing and executing migration strategies for microservice-based applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency in the cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of applications from on-prem Cloud to public cloud (AWS).
• Design high-level and low-level solution design documents to guide migration execution.
• Work with microservice-based applications and container orchestration platforms (EKS, ECS, OpenShift).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration and minimal downtime.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Provide technical expertise in AWS services and cloud architecture best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience in a large-scale application migration programme.
• Experience with EKS/ECS and OpenShift.
• Familiarity with AWS cost modelling (commercial side of cloud migration).

Education Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
