Our family of agencies provide home care to assist with daily living as well as skilled clinical services to treat conditions and manage wellness. PurposeCare is private equity funded and growing quickly across multiple states through mergers and acquisitions as well as organic growth.
The Analytics Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining data analytics solutions that support business objectives and drive value in the delivery of care. This includes building and maintaining data and analytic models, the use of cloud-based data toolkits, and supporting reporting and visualization needs. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and data skills, as well as the ability to communicate technical work products.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain complex data models supporting critical operational and reporting needs.
- Work with internal and external teams to implement data-driven solutions to improve care delivery and business value.
- Develop and implement data quality and integrity standards to ensure accurate and reliable data.
- Conduct data exploration and investigation to identify insights and patterns in healthcare and business systems data.
- Develop and maintain data infrastructure, including data pipelines, databases, and data warehousing solutions.
- Develop, automate, and maintain reports and dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization.

Education, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, healthcare informatics, statistics, or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience working with data in an analytical, engineering, or business environment.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL, and experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift is a plus.
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation. Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster, Prefect) is a plus.
- Ability and interest in operationalizing new data and AI tools, with a focus on cloud-based platforms.
- Experience with developing or contributing to complex data models, particularly leveraging dbt.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with healthcare or other regulated sensitive data.

Location
This role can be in Chicago (we have office space in Rosemont) or fully remote. There is a need for occasional on-site support at our branches.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $95,000-$125,000 plus bonus, with target compensation near the midpoint of the range. The final offer may vary based on experience, qualifications, and location.
