Designation - Software Engineer - DevOps
Responsibilities -
- Build and maintain the next-generation platform, infrastructure and tooling to support a high volume real-time gaming environment.
- Building a high-quality system which is automated, secure, reliable and operable.
- The day to day tasks involve evolving the infrastructure/platform through Code, troubleshooting live production issues, building real-time monitoring systems and taking proactive/reactive actions on various sorts of events we encounter during operations, and providing a viable long term stable solution to automate the repetitive workloads.
Qualifications : Final Year student pursuing Bachelor or Integrated Masters degree in Engineering.
Skill Requirement -
- Ability to code in one or more programming languages like Python, Ruby, PHP, Javascript, etc.
- Understanding of TCP/IP Networks, OSI Layers and networking protocols.
- Understanding of HTTP/REST based systems backed by various types of data stores, including SQL, NoSQL and Caching.
- Understanding of Operating Systems, especially Linux with an efficient command-line usage coupled with basic to advanced troubleshooting and triaging skills.
- Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms
- Understanding of statically typed Compiled languages like Go, Scala, Java,C++, etc, and infrastructure-related tools and technologies like git, terraform, virtualization, Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, etc is a plus
