Location: Ghent, KY | Schedule: 1st shift; 8am to 5pm | Payrate: $40 - $50/hour

As a Network Engineer, you'll be a key member of the Network Business Technology Team responsible for designing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure across multiple locations. Your expertise will help maximize network performance, strengthen security, and ensure the reliable connectivity that keeps manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do
As a Network Engineer, Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Configure, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure across manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with local and enterprise technology teams to design scalable and secure network architectures.
- Lead the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of networking equipment.
- Drive consistency by implementing current and emerging enterprise networking standards.
- Provide technical support for infrastructure projects and internal customer requests.
- Identify opportunities to improve network standards, policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot network issues and implement effective, long-term solutions.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and travel as needed to support business operations.
- Promote and uphold safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards in every aspect of your work.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience configuring and managing enterprise network infrastructure.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- TCP/IP networking
- VLANs
- DHCP and DNS
- LAN design, installation, configuration, cabling, and network management
- Ability to analyze technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional internal support.
- Willingness to travel and participate in an on-call support rotation.

- Industry certifications such as Network+, CCENT, CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
- Experience with Cisco Catalyst 9000 switching and wireless technologies.
- Knowledge of single-mode and multi-mode fiber installation.
- Experience configuring and administering Spanning Tree Protocol.
- Experience with IP routing and multiple routing protocols.
- Familiarity with network monitoring platforms and configuration backup solutions.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
