Areas of Accountability

  • Represent the company in client meetings as required.
  • Develop project schedules and coordinate with the field Superintendent for allocation of resources. Review Equivalency Reports as needed.
  • Proactively communicate project status, issues and financial status with the team.
  • Responsible to negotiate, prepare and issue subcontracts (fire stopping, heat trace/insulation and coring).
  • Coordinate with various designers to ensure that systems are designed to meet contract needs and building code requirements in the most efficient way possible.
  • Track and participate in drawing submissions and necessary permit applications
  • Oversee project for compliance with specifications, local codes and installation techniques.
  • Assist in the selection, ordering, and delivery schedule of materials including specialty material.
  • Coordinate with Shop lead to prepare Fab sheets
  • Review and interpret contract Terms and Conditions. (of the Contract?)
  • Complete project billings in a timely and accurate format to the client and accounting dept(internal).
  • Send billing information to Accounting Dept. in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate testing and ensure all closeout documents are obtained.
  • Schedule municipal/engineering inspections & ensure inspection cards are filed appropriately.
  • Update and store all project information on EFP’s internal network in the appropriate folder.
  • Ensure company safety policy is being enforced and documentation is provided by the foremen.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures set by Escape Fire Protection.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in Fire Protection industry
  • In-depth knowledge of B.C.B.C, V.B.B.L, NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14, 20 & 10.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experienced in Stakeholder Management.
  • Familiar with the industry’s concepts, terminology, requirements, best-practices, and procedures.
  • Comfortable using various computer programs/software. Ex: Click-Up, Excel, Word, Teams, Zoom, etc.


Job Type: Full-time / In Office


Pay: Starts at $100,000.00
