Note: This is a 100% remote role for people based in Washington, D.C. Metro Area – D.C., Maryland, Virginia

About the role:

The open position is a project management role with day-to-day responsibility in support of a nationwide communications and outreach program. You will mentor and manage team members, contribute to the operational and technical growth of the team, and play a crucial role in troubleshooting and resolving program challenges. This management role will oversee a diverse team of professionals with responsibilities including communications, operations, data analytics, technical, and other creative and outreach services.

Your strong communication skills enable you to articulate concepts to clients and team members effectively. You are committed to maintaining high standards of quality and are proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary day-to-day responsibility for implementation of the project
  • Serve as primary point of contact with client
  • Meet regularly with client to provide updates on tasks and deliverable status
  • Develop and manage a work plan for all sub-tasks and deliverables
  • Contribute to the technical growth of the team and program
  • Mentor and manage team members
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables are provided to the client on time

Required Skills:

  • Minimum six years of experience in project management
  • Proven track record in troubleshooting project issues and managing support processes
  • Experience in mentoring and managing employees
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate technical challenges
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with clients and various service areas

Salary Range:

$119,000-126,500
