We are part of the Financial Services Department working for top-tier Banks, Asset Managers, and FinTech companies. Our Banking and Capital Markets practice team focuses on providing IT and Business Operations services for stakeholders located mainly in the EMEA region. We are currently looking for
Junior / Mid Java Banking Developer to join our team.
Your Daily Tasks
- Create applications for the financial industry in the Pre and/or Post trade area for one of our Capital Markets clients, actively taking care of its development throughout its entire life cycle, based on microservice architecture created in Java, SQL, NoSQL, Kafka, Cloud, RESTful web services and others;
- Integrate with electronic markets such as: Tradeweb, Bloomberg or Aladdin using industry standards such as FIX protocol
- Work with high volume of data such as Market data, Market Risk Data, Reference data etc.
- Implement and enhance software in OTC and Exchange traded instruments such as: Interest Rates products, FX, Credit products, Fixed Income
- Use latest technologies to build high volume, low latency distributed systems for our clients.
- Work as a member of our international team using agile methodologies and professional software development processes.
Our Expectations
- Commercial experience in creating systems based on Java / JEE / Spring technologies
- Software engineering Experience in the banking area
- Knowledge and strong interest in financial markets
- Fluency in English language
- Engineering degree or a master's degree in computer science or similar area
Nice To Have
- Experience in working with containers and cloud (AWS, Azure, others)
- Experience in microservices
- Knowledge of NoSQL and BigData technology stack
- Practical ability to work in the UNIX environment
