Position Summary
We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Product Manager to serve as the critical bridge between our business stakeholders and engineering teams. This is a contract-to hire opportunity for someone who thrives in dynamic, high-growth environments and wants to make a lasting impact on healthcare technology.
You will own the full product delivery lifecycle — from translating business strategy into actionable technical requirements through production launch and post-launch support. You will work closely with leadership, developers, and operational teams to ensure our products are delivered on time, on scope, and to the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements & Discovery
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders to deeply understand goals, workflows, and constraints
- Identify and advise on technical architecture and vendor partners to ensure systems are built to scale
- Translate business requirements into detailed, developer-ready technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, all documented and saved in shared team workspace
- Maintain and prioritize a well-groomed product backlog aligned to business objectives
Build Leadership & Developer Partnership
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the development team throughout the build cycle
- Lead sprint planning, stand-ups, and grooming ceremonies to keep delivery on track
- Identify blockers, dependencies, and risks early; escalate critical issues to leadership with context and recommended resolution paths
- Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented relationship between business and engineering stakeholders

Project Planning & Status Reporting
- Develop and maintain detailed workback plans and project timelines with clearly defined milestones and owners
- Deliver structured status updates and milestone reports on pre-agreed cadences to leadership and key stakeholders
- Proactively surface risks, scope changes, and timeline impacts with supporting analysis
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Lead end-to-end (E2E) testing planning and execution across all affected systems and integrations
- Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test plan authorship, scenario design, and stakeholder participation
- Manage defect triage and resolution tracking through to sign-off
Launch & Post-Launch Support
- Support war room operations at go-live, coordinating real-time cross-functional response to issues
- Ensure hypercare protocols are in place and adhered to in the post-launch window
- Conduct post-launch retrospectives and document lessons learned

What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of product management experience, with a strong track record in tech-forward or healthcare/telehealth environments
- Proven ability to bridge business and engineering — you speak fluently in both boardroom and backlog
- Hands-on experience writing technical requirements, PRDs, and user stories consumed directly by developers
- Experience building and managing workback plans and project timelines in fast-moving organizations
- Strong facilitation skills for requirements workshops, UAT sessions, and cross-functional reviews
- Comfortable leading war room operations and making calm, clear decisions under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication; confident presenting status and risk summaries to senior leadership
Nice to Have
- Experience in telehealth, digital health, or regulated healthcare technology
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and provider-facing portal workflows
- Working knowledge of API-driven integrations and event-driven architecture
- Exposure to HIPAA compliance considerations in product development
