Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the full recruitment pipeline โ€” sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers across all departments
Conduct initial interviews and evaluate candidates for role fit, culture fit, and alignment with Aebly's mission
Write and post job listings across LinkedIn, Handshake, Indeed, and other relevant platforms
Build and maintain an applicant tracking system to manage candidates across multiple open roles simultaneously
Source candidates proactively through LinkedIn outreach, university career networks, industry communities, and referrals
Develop interview frameworks and evaluation criteria for each role so hiring is consistent and fair across departments
Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and hiring managers, including the founders and department leads
Manage candidate communication throughout the process โ€” confirmations, follow-ups, rejections, and offers
Track hiring metrics including time to fill, applicant volume, source quality, and offer acceptance rates
Coordinate with HR on onboarding handoff once candidates are hired

Job Description


This role is compensated through founding equity in Aebly Media, with the transition to salaried pay as we scale. This is not a salaried position upfront โ€” you're joining as a founding contributor with real ownership in what you help build.

The Role

Aebly Media is scaling across multiple departments โ€” editorial, content, production, anchor network, outreach, and operations โ€” and we need someone dedicated to finding and vetting the right people. We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to own the full hiring pipeline from sourcing to offer. You'd be the first person candidates interact with, the one who screens for fit, conducts interviews, and makes sure the founders' time is only spent on finalists worth meeting.


What you'll do

  • Own and manage the full recruitment pipeline โ€” sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers across all departments
  • Conduct initial interviews and evaluate candidates for role fit, culture fit, and alignment with Aebly's mission
  • Write and post job listings across LinkedIn, Handshake, Indeed, and other relevant platforms
  • Build and maintain an applicant tracking system to manage candidates across multiple open roles simultaneously
  • Source candidates proactively through LinkedIn outreach, university career networks, industry communities, and referrals
  • Develop interview frameworks and evaluation criteria for each role so hiring is consistent and fair across departments
  • Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and hiring managers, including the founders and department leads
  • Manage candidate communication throughout the process โ€” confirmations, follow-ups, rejections, and offers โ€” so every applicant has a professional experience

What we're looking for

  • Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or hiring coordination
  • Comfortable conducting interviews and making sound judgment calls on candidate fit
  • Strong communicator who can represent Aebly Media professionally to every applicant
  • Organized enough to manage multiple open roles and candidate pipelines simultaneously without things falling through the cracks
  • Understands how to evaluate candidates across a wide range of roles โ€” from creative and editorial to operational and technical
  • Proactive sourcer who doesn't just wait for applications to come in
  • Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously with a distributed team
