Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on, technically strong IT Manager to own and operate internal IT systems end-to-end. This role is ideal for a systems engineering–minded IT professional who still enjoys working directly in infrastructure, identity, DNS/email systems, and endpoint administration while leading a small distributed team.
This is a working manager role, not a purely strategic IT leadership position. You will actively configure, troubleshoot, and maintain core systems that power the business while also driving structure, reliability, and operational maturity across IT.
You’ll own a modern SaaS and infrastructure environment spanning cloud platforms, identity systems, endpoint management, and two colocated data centers, working alongside offshore systems administrators and a U.S.-based Salesforce/Planhat Administrator.
What You’ll Own
Identity, DNS & Email Systems (Core Responsibility)
- Administer identity and access across all systems (IAM, privileged access, credential security).
- Own DNS and domain infrastructure.
- Manage email systems including MX records, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- Ensure reliability and security of core identity and email services.
SaaS & Enterprise Systems
- Administer Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoom, Gong, and Jira Service Management.
- Provide oversight of Salesforce and Planhat administration.
- Manage SaaS licensing, renewals, vendors, and inventory.
Infrastructure & Colocation
- Coordinate operations across two data centers (Dallas, TX and Charlotte, NC).
- Work with offshore systems administrators and remote-hands providers.
- Support VPN, remote access, and network troubleshooting for a distributed workforce.
- Occasional on-site work for hardware installs or decommissions.

Endpoint & Device Management
- Own laptop procurement, imaging, and lifecycle management (Dell & Apple).
- Administer Apple Business Manager and device enrollment.
- Provide hands-on end-user support as needed.
- Manage mobile devices and carrier accounts.
IT Operations & Leadership
- Own onboarding/offboarding IT provisioning in partnership with HR.
- Manage day-to-day IT operations and vendor relationships.
- Lead offshore systems administration team through a team lead.
- Support and develop a U.S.-based Salesforce/Planhat Administrator.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, or IT Management with strong hands-on responsibility.
- Strong systems engineering or senior infrastructure background preferred.
- Deep experience with DNS and domain management.
- Strong understanding of email systems (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration.
- Strong identity and access management (IAM) fundamentals.
- Endpoint management experience (imaging, deployment, lifecycle support).
- Familiarity with EDR/XDR tools (Cynet or similar).
- Experience supporting colocation or data center environments via remote hands.
- Comfortable working across a broad SaaS ecosystem in a technical ownership role.
- Self-directed, structured, and comfortable owning critical systems end-to-end.
