Senior .NET Backend Developer in UNITED KINGDOM

Location: Remote. Working from home.

Salary: £40k- £60k per year depending on experience and skills, plus bonus and pension

Job type: Full-time (with flexibility).

Tech stack: .NET 6, C#, SQL Server, Azure SQL, SQlite, WPF, Vue.js

Our software team is responsible for developing cutting-edge scientific software to support the visualisation, interpretation and management of geochemical data, through a suite of integrated desktop and web products. We aim to change the way we compile, manage and interpret scientific data across a range of application domains.

What we are looking for:

An passionate software developer with experience leading on enterprise level projects on the .Net stack with a focus on quality code. As we are a fully remote software team, you need to be a good communicator, who can work collaboratively and independently when required.


We are looking for someone with the below essential skills and ideally some of the desirable skills.


Essential Skills:

·        Good communication skills.

·        Great attitude and team player

·        Writing object-oriented code, ideally in C#

·        Experience of developing and maintaining backend solutions in .NET


Desirable Skills:

·        Working with SQL databases

·        Cloud platforms (preferably Azure)

·        Web API design, development and deployment

·        Writing and maintaining unit and integration tests
