Your opportunity

  • You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for creating test plans, defining test scenarios, analyzing the impact of new features, and performing both manual and automated testing.
  • You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs
  • You will experience the culture of a technology start-up and work in an international environment with SkillLabers from +20 countries


Your team

You will join our QA team as the new QA Engineer! Our QA team is a dedicated and skilled group of professionals committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality in our software products. Currently, our team consists of three QA engineers and Luiza is the QA Lead. You will closely work with and report to her.

Your impact

  • You will develop comprehensive test plans and define test scenarios using Testmo for test management
  • You will analyze the impact of new features and changes to the existing platform to ensure quality and performance
  • You will conduct thorough manual testing to identify and document defects and ensure the software meets the highest quality standards
  • You will implement and maintain automated tests using Playwright/TypeScript
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability and quality risks
  • You will continuously improve testing processes and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness


Requirements

Your skills

  • Experience in creating test plans and defining test scenarios
  • Strong analytical skills to assess the impact of new features and changes
  • Experience in test automation, especially with Playwright and TypeScript. Knowledge of other automation tools and languages, such as Cypress or Java, is also valuable and will be considered
  • Solid understanding of manual testing techniques and practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment


Extra awesome

  • Experience with Testmo or similar test management tools
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how testing integrates with them


Salary, start-date & location

  • We use a salary benchmark for the Dutch high-tech sector to set your salary based on your experience. We expect that the annual gross salary for the experience we are looking for ranges from 42k - 52k Euro per year
  • We accept applications on a rolling basis, and we envision a start date as soon as possible.
