We are looking for a talented and driven Aftermarket Quality Test Engineer to join our team on an advanced automotive project for a premium OEM. Responsibilities include owning end-to-end aftersales quality investigations across multiple vehicle platforms, investigating software and hardware issues, performing root cause analysis using logs and vehicle data, and managing quality issues through early 8D stages. Key requirements include a degree in Automotive Engineering or equivalent, proven experience in whole-vehicle testing, advanced hands-on experience with CANoe/CANape, and strong analytical and communication skills.

We are looking for a talented and driven Aftermarket Quality Test Engineer to join our team on an advanced automotive project for a premium OEM..
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end aftersales quality investigations across multiple vehicle platforms
- Investigate software and hardware issues, translating customer complaints into structured test plans and technical problem definitions
- Perform detailed root cause analysis using logs, vehicle data, test results, and warranty parts
- Manage quality issues through early 8D stages (D0–D3), ensuring tracking, reporting, and escalation
- Act as the key technical interface between aftersales, plant quality, suppliers, and engineering teams
- Conduct vehicle testing and diagnostics using tools such as CANoe / CANape
- Analyze failed warranty parts to identify failure modes and support corrective actions
- Coordinate logistics and handling of incoming warranty components
- Contribute to continuous improvement (methods, tools, knowledge databases, KPIs)
- Deliver structured and clear technical reporting to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent
- Proven experience in whole-vehicle testing in one or more domains:
- Infotainment & Connectivity
- ADAS
- Electrical & Electronic (E/E) systems
- Chassis
- Propulsion
- Vehicle engineering
- Strong experience in:
- Root cause analysis (8D, Six Sigma or similar)
- Diagnostic and troubleshooting of vehicle issues
- Advanced hands-on experience with:
- CANoe / CANape (mandatory)
- CAN / FlexRay communication
- Logging and data analysis
- Good understanding of electric vehicle (EV) systems
- Experience in cross-functional and international environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional level of English
- Valid driving licence (Class B)
