- Build and maintain ingestion pipelines from operational sources (Firestore CDC, event tracking APIs, Backend services) into a centralized data store
- Design and evolve the core data schemas (user state, user signals) that serve as the unified source of truth across all Elfie products
- Define how data gets ingested from every component in the Elfie ecosystem (app, backend, third-party integrations) and how it gets served out (direct BQ access, Data API, BI tools); own the standards that make upstream data trustworthy
- Implement transparent pipeline lineage so any team can see how data was transformed; define tests and governance rules that enforce quality before data reaches the AI layer
Must-have
- 5–8 years working with data in a product or platform context
- Strong schema and domain modeling instinct
- End-to-end pipeline work: extraction, transformation, structured storage
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, BigQuery, dbt
- Practices: Git workflows, CI/CD, code review
- Experience in fast-paced startup environments with quick iteration, continuous deployment, and test-driven development
- Strong bias for action - you know we have a lot to deliver and you can help us get there
- Positive attitude and willingness to roll up sleeves and dig deep to achieve goals;
- Excellent English communication skills in a professional capacity

- Experience building or maintaining structured knowledge layers; including ontologies, domain taxonomies, or knowledge bases that ground AI outputs in verifiable definitions
- Experience using LLMs via API (Vertex AI, OpenAI, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with LLM pipelines or agentic system data flows
- Health or behavioral data background
