Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Business Intelligence Consultant (Excel) to work on a contractual basis. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Excel-based reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making for a technology-driven organization. The work focuses on transforming raw data into actionable insights, ensuring accuracy, and enabling stakeholders to track performance metrics efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain Excel-based dashboards and reports using Power Query, Power Pivot, and advanced Excel functions.

• Extract, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure integrity and consistency in reporting outputs.

• Develop automated workflows in Excel to reduce manual effort and improve data processing efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify reporting needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support strategic initiatives and provide insights for decision-making.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Proficiency in Power Query, Power Pivot, and advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and INDEX-MATCH.

• Experience with data modeling and creating interactive dashboards in Excel.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and present findings clearly.

• Familiarity with data validation techniques and error handling in Excel.
