Senior Data Analyst / Data Engineer - Agent Performance Telemetry

About the role:

Open Ingress is building the foundational infrastructure that enables AI agents to seamlessly interact with the modern web. We bridge the gap between complex human interfaces and machine-operable workflows, ensuring that agentic software can navigate, understand, and execute tasks across the digital ecosystem with unprecedented reliability.

You will collaborate directly with our engineering, product, and AI research leadership to architect our core product analytics and system telemetry frameworks. You will own the end-to-end data pipelines that track agent performance, translate massive log structures into foundational business and technical insights, and build the evaluation frameworks that define how we measure agentic reliability at scale.

What you'll do:

• Architect Agent Performance Telemetry: Own the end-to-end analysis of millions of complex agent sessions, building robust data models to uncover systemic bottlenecks in how agentic software interacts with dynamic web surfaces.

• Establish Core Evaluation Frameworks: Design, implement, and maintain scalable metrics and data infrastructure to track agent reliability, web parsing accuracy, and failure attribution across our entire customer base.
• Drive Cross-Functional Business Insights: Act as the strategic data partner to Product and Engineering leadership, transforming messy, unstructured system logs into high-impact dashboards, predictive trends, and clear, data-backed roadmap recommendations.
• Advance Data Analytics Infrastructure: Partner with data engineering to optimize our analytics tech stack, establish data governance practices, and build clean, reusable data pipelines to ensure a single source of truth across the organization.

What we're looking for:

• Advanced Analytics Expertise: Extensive experience (5+ years preferred) as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer, with mastery of SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for wrangling complex, high-volume, and unstructured log data.
• Data Modeling & BI Mastery: Proven track record of designing scalable data models and building production-grade dashboards (Tableau, Looker, Streamlit) that translate deeply technical anomalies into executive-level strategies.
• Web Architecture & Telemetry Familiarity: A strong technical understanding of web protocols, DOM structures, APIs, and how browser automation tools generate system logs and performance traces.
• Passion for the AI Horizon: A genuine interest in AI agents, LLM telemetry, agentic web browsing, and using data to solve the unpredictable edge cases of next-generation AI workflows.

Location & Leveling: This is a fully remote position. We are hiring specifically at the Senior level, with compensation and equity scaled to match your deep technical background and proven ability to drive architectural impact.
