Job Description

Join a studio that’s already in the game.

We’re building a 3D multiplayer espionage RPG in Unity — a modern revival of a cult-classic that ran for over 20 years and still has a devoted community. We’re not pre-concept or hoping it works. We run public playtests with a live player base, we’re entering festivals, and we have a tight team of senior developers shipping real systems every single week.

This is your chance to put a festival-selected, traction-backed game studio on your portfolio — and learn directly from a strong senior team while you do it.

What You’ll Work On

  • QA and bug reporting
  • UI polish and minor visual adjustments
  • Building missions and content using our existing systems (full documentation provided)
  • Minor bug fixes assigned by the team

What We Need From You

  • Solid programming fundamentals — you understand logic and structure and can reason about code
  • Comfort using AI tools to study and understand an existing codebase quickly. We want self-starters, not people we hand-hold through every file
  • The discipline to read and understand existing code before you change anything
  • Before modifying any script: check who owns it and tell them first. Not sure who owns it? Ask before touching it
  • Ask questions when you’re stuck instead of guessing
  • Be able to explain what you changed and why you did it that way

Nice to Have

  • Good architecture patterns — Service Providers, event-driven systems (EventBus), clean separation of concerns
  • Unity / Mirror or other multiplayer networking experience

Why Join Us

  • Proven concept — we’re past “will it work.” We run multi-hour public playtests on a stable build
  • Real traction — an existing player base waiting on every release
  • Festival momentum — currently leading [FESTIVAL NAME], with more submissions in flight
  • A senior team worth learning from — you’ll be mentored, not thrown in the deep end
  • Your name on a real, shipping title for your portfolio

This isn’t for you if you change systems you don’t understand, or go quiet when you’re lost. If you read first, communicate, and take pride in clean work — we want to talk.

What we offer:

  • Compensation: $300 USD/month, full-time contractor through our staffing agency, paid in your LOCAL CURRENCY
  • Start: ASAP. We value your time.
  • Engagement: Long-term contractor. We invest in our people.
