We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SDET Engineer to join a technology team supporting critical retirement and institutional custody platforms. This role is ideal for a quality-focused engineer with strong Mainframe testing expertise who is passionate about automation, validation, and delivering high-quality software solutions within complex enterprise environments.

As a member of a collaborative Agile team, you will be responsible for designing and executing testing strategies, building automation frameworks, validating large-scale data processing, and ensuring the quality and reliability of mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies for Mainframe applications.
  • Build and maintain automated testing solutions for enterprise systems.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Validate data accuracy across large datasets and complex batch processes.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Software Testing, QA Engineering, or SDET experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • Strong Mainframe testing experience including:
  • COBOL

  • JCL
  • VSAM
  • SQL
  • SPUFI
  • IBM Utilities
  • Experience validating Mainframe batch processing and data integrity.
  • Strong understanding of test planning, test execution, defect management, and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Experience with:
  • File-Aid
  • CICS
  • Control-M
  • Endevor
  • Eztrieve
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
