Job Title: Lead DevOps Engineer

Location: Cyprus

Salary: 65k/70k Euros annually

Our client is an innovative tech company whose brand extends across several industries including Travel, Software, Marketing, and Real Estate. You as a Lead DevOps Engineer will be working predominantly within the software area of the business.


They offer Relocation support from close European countries, up to 2 weeks in a hotel and flight. They also offer flexibility with one to two days a week working from home a week.


Job Description:


Our client is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer with management experience to take technical leadership and grow a team from scratch of 2/3 engineers in the next 12 months. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing their AWS infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployment, high availability, and robust security for their applications and services.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and maintain company domains using AWS Route 53, Name.com, and Cloudflare
  • Oversee and administer AWS S3 buckets for efficient data storage and management
  • Handle the setup, configuration, and maintenance of AWS EC2 instances and load balancers
  • Manage SSL/TLS certificates using AWS Certificate Manager to ensure secure communications
  • Manage email routing configurations with Cloudflare to ensure reliable email delivery
  • Upload and manage a file manager for landing pages assets daily, ensuring timely and accurate updates
  • Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, Terraform) to streamline infrastructure management
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK stack) to ensure system reliability and performance
