Job Description
Job Title: System Administrator (Unix/Linux)
Client: Optum / UHC
Location: Remote (with occasional onsite requirement in Arlington, TX)
Duration: Contract ASAP until 12/31/2026 (with potential extension based on performance and client requirements)
Work Setup
Fully remote role
Candidate must be able to travel to the client data center in Arlington, TX within 2 hours if required
Data center support is not on-call and only required during business hours
Visits are ad hoc, only if issues arise

Key Skills Required
Strong Unix/Linux System Administration experience
Hands-on experience with:
Shell scripting (Unix scripting)
Cron job scheduling and troubleshooting
