Position Details:

Position Overview

The CLIENT is seeking an experienced Tester to support the SBM team by providing advanced testing expertise and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with business users, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure applications meet business requirements and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze business requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test suites.
  • Create and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
  • Contribute to UAT planning and execution activities.
  • Perform manual testing, regression testing, integration testing, exploratory testing, and defect validation.
  • Log, track, retest, and verify defects using defect management tools.
  • Validate system functionality against business and technical requirements.
  • Support performance, accessibility, security, and integration testing efforts.
  • Prepare and manage test data for testing activities.
  • Participate in defect triage meetings and release readiness assessments.
  • Provide testing guidance and support to business users and stakeholders.
  • Develop testing documentation, templates, best practices, and training materials.
  • Generate test metrics, status reports, and testing summaries.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with automation engineers and support test automation initiatives.


Required Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience analyzing requirements and creating detailed test cases and test scenarios.
  • Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), security testing concepts, and performance testing considerations.
  • Experience identifying project risks and recommending mitigation strategies.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within government agencies or highly regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Robot Framework.
  • Experience preparing and managing test data.
  • Strong QA/UAT background supporting complex enterprise applications.

Work Environment:

  • Fully remote position.
  • Must be available during standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST).
  • Candidate must reside and perform all work within the United States.
  • Occasional onsite attendance may be required with reasonable notice.
  • Candidate must provide their own computer equipment, monitors, internet connection, and phone.
